Reducing glare and fading in Oldham

Location

The Problem

Glare, privacy and fading of furniture. Eight bi fold doors that open out to playing fields at the rear of this house, problem is the customer struggles to use his laptop due to the glare on the screen, the furniture has faded because of UV light and people using the playing fields can look straight in to their house.

Our Solution

A one way daytime privacy window film, not too dark so won't make the room dark inside, will reduce glare by 86% and blocks 99% of ultra violet light passing through the glass doors whilst offering complete daytime privacy allowing them to clearly see out and others not in. First of all a survey to check that all important glass type and yes it was fine as it was toughened glass so an internal installation was safe to proceed with. We visited this customer several times and provide different sample of window film to help them make their choice.

The Window Film We Used

They chose Titan Duo 05 solar control window film a dual reflective window film. This window film was installed to the inside of all 8 bi fold doors and we took some photo's to show how the first door treated looks dark, then the second door looks slightly lighter but you'll notice when all 5 doors were treated how much lighter they all look. Samples of window film don't really give you a true look of how the end result will look, that's why we try and show as many of our previous installations as possible. As standard a 10-year manufacturers backed warranty is included.
