Blistering Heat In Crewe

Location

Crewe

The Problem

Heat, the kitchen diner was way too hot that the family of this beautiful couldn't sit inside as it was like a greenhouse. They had initially enquired about blinds to give them some shade but they were hit with a massive £8000 quotation. They wasn't going to pay that much especially when blinds will only provide shade and do nothing for the rising temperature inside as the heat just filters around them. Then they found us Manchester Window Film on Google whilst searching the web. Andy gave us a call and a survey was arranged within a few days.

Our Solution

We recommended that they should have a solar control window film called Optitune 40. This particular window film is very popular with residential property's due to its natural look and it can go unnoticed once installed. They told us they wanted a window film that wouldn't spoil the look of the wooden beams but would still do the job they so desperately needed. We checked the glass which was toughened and so an internal application was safe to proceed with.

The Window Film We Used

We applied solar control window film Optitune 40 to the top 4 shaped windows. Due to the height we had to use a mobile scaffolding tower to safely access them. Optitune 40 reduces 55% heat gain, 99% ultra violet light and 55% glare reduction transmitted through the glazing. The photos we took whilst installing the window film show how inconspicuous it actually looks or doesn't. Overall they were extremely pleased with the cost, window film choice and the way the installation was carried out with virtually no disruption.
